The Sampfordpark Stud is a new venture for Venn Farm and has been based mostly around the Cadlanvalley bloodlines. Whilst they are allowed to live as naturally as possible, in a herd environment, they are still very much part of the family, well handled, well loved and well cared for.

Our Mission

To breed Welsh Section B Ponies for type, temperament and substance. The unique way in which Welsh Ponies graze - enjoying some some the harsher grasses - is said to break up and open up the newer softer grasses enjoyed by beef cattle, therefore by moving the pony herd and beef herd around the farm in as natural and wild a way as possible we hope to do the most for the land and the animals as possible.

The essential joy of being with horses is that it brings us in contact with the rare elements of grace, beauty, spirit, and freedom
